At Shiningregen, we are committed to your satisfaction with our products. This Return Policy outlines your rights and our procedures for returning products and requesting refunds. This policy complies with Austrian consumer protection laws and European Union regulations, including the Consumer Rights Directive.

2. Your Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumer Rights)

2.1 Withdrawal Period

In accordance with EU Consumer Rights Directive, if you are a consumer located in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. This is known as the "cooling-off period."

The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier indicated by you, acquires physical possession of the goods. If you have ordered multiple items in one order that are delivered separately, the withdrawal period begins on the day you receive the last item.

2.3 Deadline for Withdrawal

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

2.4 Effects of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from the purchase, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw.

We will carry out the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. In any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

3. Returning Products

3.1 Return Shipping

The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.

3.2 Cost of Return Shipping

You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods unless we have agreed to bear those costs. For returns within Austria, the estimated cost is approximately €5-10 depending on the shipping method and package weight.

3.3 Condition of Returned Products

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods. To avoid any diminished value:

  • Products must be returned in their original packaging when possible
  • Products should be unused and in resalable condition
  • All accessories, manuals, and documentation must be included
  • Products should not show signs of use beyond what is necessary to inspect them

We reserve the right to deduct from your refund an amount reflecting any diminished value caused by excessive handling.

3.4 Products That Cannot Be Returned

For health and safety reasons, the following products cannot be returned once the seal has been broken or the product has been opened:

  • Dietary supplements with broken seals
  • Products that have been used or consumed
  • Products that are not in their original condition
  • Products that are damaged due to misuse or negligence

If you have opened or used a product, you may not be entitled to a full refund or any refund at all, depending on the circumstances.

4. Refund Process

4.1 Refund Timeline

Once we receive your returned product and verify its condition, we will process your refund within 14 days. You will receive a confirmation email when your refund has been processed.

The refund will be credited to the original payment method used for the purchase. Please note that depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.

  • Products with diminished value due to handling beyond what is necessary

5. Damaged or Defective Products

5.1 Reporting Damage or Defects

  • Description of the damage or defect
  • Photographs of the damaged or defective product
  • Photographs of the packaging (if damaged)

We recommend inspecting your order upon delivery and reporting any issues within 48 hours of receipt.

5.2 Resolution for Damaged or Defective Products

If we determine that a product is damaged or defective, we will offer one of the following solutions at your choice:

  • Full refund including original shipping costs
  • Replacement product shipped at no additional cost
  • Store credit for the full purchase amount

We will provide a prepaid return label for damaged or defective products, so you will not incur any return shipping costs.

5.3 Manufacturing Defects

If a product develops a manufacturing defect within 30 days of purchase, we will replace it free of charge or provide a full refund. Manufacturing defects do not include damage caused by misuse, accidents, or normal wear and tear.

6. Wrong Product Shipped

  • Ship the correct product to you immediately at no additional charge

7. Non-Delivery

7.1 Lost or Missing Packages

  • Track your package with the shipping carrier
  • Investigate the delay or loss
  • Reship your order or provide a full refund if the package cannot be located

7.2 Incorrect Address

If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by you, we will contact you to arrange reshipment. You may be responsible for additional shipping costs for reshipment. If you prefer not to have the order reshipped, we will process a refund minus the original shipping costs.

8. Exchanges

We do not offer direct product exchanges. If you wish to exchange a product for a different item, please return the original product for a refund according to this Return Policy and place a new order for the desired product.

This ensures that you receive your new product as quickly as possible without waiting for the return to be processed first.

9. Cancellations

9.2 Cancelling After Shipment

Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled. However, you may refuse delivery or return the product according to our return policy once you receive it.

10. Refusal of Delivery

If you refuse delivery of your order, the package will be returned to us. Once we receive the returned package, we will process a refund for the product cost. However, we will deduct the original shipping costs and any return shipping fees charged by the carrier from your refund.

11. Special Circumstances

11.1 Promotional Items and Free Gifts

If your order included promotional items or free gifts, these must be returned along with the purchased products to receive a full refund. If promotional items are not returned, we may deduct their value from your refund.

11.2 Bulk or Wholesale Orders

11.3 Sale or Clearance Items

Products purchased during sales or clearance events are subject to the same return policy as regular-priced items, unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.

For customers outside Austria, the following additional terms apply:

  • You are responsible for all return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error
  • You are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or fees associated with the return

14. Warranty Information

Our products come with statutory warranties as required by Austrian and EU consumer protection laws. These statutory rights are not affected by this Return Policy.

Under Austrian law, consumers are entitled to a legal guarantee for defects that existed at the time of delivery. This guarantee lasts for two years from the date of delivery. During the first six months, it is presumed that any defect existed at the time of delivery unless we can prove otherwise.
